Home for the Holidays

Yup, this will be the last update for probably 10/11 days and I can just hear the devastated sighs :p We're having another round of goodbye drinks at work today after closing, this time we're staying at the store and it will just be an hour or so, and my friend is meeting me there to join us, get me home and help me do some last minute things. She's staying over and taking me to the airport at some completely mad hour of Tuesday morning where I'm flying over to Ireland to stay with my family for Christmas :)
So folks, have a safe and happy holidays and may santa be generous ;) lol!

Last Night

Well, actually it went pretty well. Had a few drinks after closing at the store then headed down to the local to met up with everyone else so we were quite merry when we arrived, grabbed some food, drank some more, chatted and work wasn't even mentioned once which was probably a good thing. Everything wrapped up about 10:30 and I went straight home and fell into a drunken stuper :D It's amazing how much alcohol can be consumed when your time is limited lol!

On a side note I have been watching the whole Wire In the Blood series and It's fantastic! Now I'm really pissed at myself for not having recorded it though I may invest in the books by Val McDermid when I have money, so I won't be reading any time soon :(

Meh...

Off to buy some xmas cards, then to the council to see what has to be done regarding my leaving the flat and pay the rent, pay credit card bill [arg...]

later I'm meeting up with the peeps from work for one last night out before the store closes, not looking forward to that, a few drinks and we'll all be blubbering wrecks *steeles self for overabundance of emotion*

Yes, the blog has a whole new look just felt like it needed a change *shrugs* and decided to try out a new tag type thing I'm just fed up with Tag Board having 'problems'

Now I'm moving my ass to bed :p

We're NOT Morons..

We have closing down posters in the window at work, today our area manager arrives and tells us that another store manager will probably be around sometime this or next week to take his pick of the stock that's left, but he still insists that we are in a "consultation period" with no final decisions made. Is it just me or are they trying to pretend we were braindead! because all of the above sounds pretty fucking final to me

What is wrong with these halfwits that not only will they not be honest but but they have to rub salt in the wounds by making out we're stupid too, we may be simple sales assistants sunshine... but we didn't need labotomies to do the damn job....

Exhausted and relieved

Spent from late evening yesterday, barring work, until late afternoon today hamster hunting, long story ..... *note to self* never handle very fast and tiny creatures unless it's over their home so if they jump hopefully they'll land in there and not dissapear, Gods! one awol furry creature has thankfully at least been found and returned to join his little furry friend lol!

So now I can sleeeeeeeeep, yes sleep good......

Enough.....

I am not perfect, I cannot please and keep everyone happy, I have lost my job, my home and just had cryo on my back. nuff said. FYI give a girl a break people..... I have penty on this plate already. Just been needing to vent that for a while about a lot of stuff and now.... *feels better*

Sunday Dec 1st:
Nickelback gig, totally fucking incredible and going down as one of my favourites, came home with a mug, shirt and programme :D Support was Default and I advise everyone who reads to check them out, I rarely find support bands that make an impact and these guys blew me away, so do yourself a favour check them out!!!!

Tuesday 3rd:
Had cryo on my back as there were concerens over changes in some freckles and a strange wart thing due to a major burning from holiday in Austrailia a few years ago and it unbelieveably stung! and my poor back doesn't look to great right now

Today:
Got word that the final decision regarding when our jobs will officially finish will be on the 28th and it doesn't look like we will last much past January, figures...
